Patricia has an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Goucher College in Baltimore and a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Oregon. Prior to working at Forest Magazine she was a free-lance writer, during which time she won an award from the Oregon Society of Professional Journalists for environmental reporting.
